David Letterman returns to CBS late night on Wednesday, but there’s been a change to the soundtrack.
Chicago’s own Lupe Fiasco will be Dave’s musical guest, performing “Superstar” from his latest album “The Cool.” He replaces Shooter Jennings, who will be on Friday’s show.
It’s Dave’s first live show since early November, when TV writers went on strike. Letterman’s Worldwide Pants production company made a deal with the writers’ union to allow his writers to return to work.
Dave’s main guest Wednesday will be actor Robin Williams.
