Emily Deschanel (left) and David Boreanaz are taking their "Bones" to Thursdays this winter. Fox photo.

The broadcast and cable networks are back this month with new and returning shows. But don't expect to find all of your old faves on the same nights. Fox, for example, has moved both "Bones" and "House" to new nights.

I've set it up this list by days of the week, as opposed to calendar dates. This way you can see what shows go up against each other in each time period. The return or debut date follows each show's listing.

I've included as much information as I could find, but this is by no means a complete list. If you don’t see a show you are interested in listed, please email me or post a comment and I will try to find out when it begins. (Click on the link below to see the list.)

Thanks and enjoy the midseason. There’s some terrific stuff coming, as I've written about here.

    MIDSEASON DEBUT DATES & TIMES

By the way, the networks change their minds constantly, so dates and times may change. This list is as accurate as I’m able to be right now. NEW SHOWS ARE IN CAPS.
