    'Heroes' Webisodes bridge gap between Volumes 3 & 4

    The latest series of “Heroes” Webisodes, called “The Recruit,” went live Monday with “Private Mills.”

    The new Web series advances a plot line from Monday’s episode of the NBC series (watch it here) and will fill in the gap between the just completed Volume 3 and Volume 4, which begins Feb. 2.

    The plot centers on Rachel Mills, one of 50 Marines recruited by Pinehurst to be injected with a serum that will give them abilities to track and capture “specials.” Something goes wrong in the very first Webisode, and eventually Racehl is facing down Angela Petrelli.

    The cast includes Taylor Cole as Rachel and Cristine Rose as Angela, as well as Brian Skala (David), Cole Williams (Ryan) and Ronald Lawrence (Carlos).

    New Webisodes will post at NBC’s Web site every Monday. Here are some interviews with cast members:
