    Janice

    Phelps

Janice Dickinson has been “walking around like a zombie,” obsessed with swimmer Michael Phelps—his super speed, super attitude and super body.

The Beijing Olympics star has become the butt of jokes lately, including that Phelps is the kind of guy girls call “Buthisface,” as in “Everything about him is hot, but his face.” That doesn’t matter to Dickinson, the self-proclaimed world’s first supermodel; she’d hire Phelps as a model.

“In a heartbeat," Dickinson told me Wednesday. "His dedication and his drive kind of reminds me—I'm sorry you guys—of myself because when I was 9 years old I knew I wanted to be a model. When he was 9 years old he knew that he wanted to be in the pool."

Dickinson said when she was 9 she saw Lauren Hutton in Vogue magazine. “I knew I wanted to be that girl. I did everything I could to learn how to become a model,” she said during a call with reporters.

    Dickinson’s comparisons didn’t stop there.

"All I did was eat, sleep and exercise modeling," she said, adding that all Phelps does is eat, sleep and swim.

“It just kind of parallels with Michael Phelps.”

"The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency" returns at 9 p.m. Tuesday on Oxygen.
