Ronnie and Ben put on a glam sham (left) while Perry and Casey did a flop fop.

I'll be putting up new shots today at Ronnie's photo gallery

The good news is, Chicago’s Ronnie Kroell didn’t get kicked off in Thursday’s episode of Bravo’s “Make Me A Supermodel.” The bad news is Ronnie could be kicked off next week.

That’s right. Once again our guy is in the bottom three. How did an episode that started out so promising (Ronnie and Ben shirtless in their beds; Katy being sent home instead of Ronnie), end on such a down note?

    Oh, the drama.

Drama was kind of the theme of the night. The models went to Bleeker Street Theatre where they had to EMOTE. The photo assignment was to tell a story in their shots. So they had to use body language and expression to play a scene.

Perry, Jacki and Ben worked together. Their story was that Jacki and Perry are fighting (just like real life!) and Ben is trying to make peace. Perry got way into it, and personal, really pissing Jacki off. She slaps him. Ben says he wanted to hit him too. Perry’s not acting.

Next up are Ronnie, Frankie and Holly. Ronnie and Holly play a couple in love, and Frankie is Holly’s ex. I do not think it went well. Holly looked great. She’s become the woman to beat. Tyson makes a big deal of Frankie’s emotion, but I didn’t see it. He annoys.

Unfortunately, the photographer doesn’t think much of Ronnie’s look. This is the second week in a row he’s been bagged for being too wholesome. I don’t get it. I’d buy clothes he’s in on a runway—after I took them off of him.

Shannon, Steph and Casey do another love triangle, but it’s pretty forgettable. Except Shannon, who like Holly doesn’t seem to be able to take a bad photo.

This week’s catwalk assignment had the kids pairing up and creating characters. But it’s more than a little strange when they show up on the runway.

Steph and Holly are villain and superhero. Holly’s good; Steph not so much. Frankie and Shannon are “old Hollywood,” but they don’t look great together. Shannon looks like a top-hat-and-tails dancer. Frankie looks like a reject from a spoof of a pirate movie. Not good.

Jacki does her own thing because of the odd number of models. She’s an “executive bitch.” Se works it with glasses and a pointer, and looks pretty hot.

Now to the gayest characters: Perry and Casey are “high society,” but they end up looking like a gay Shakespeare show. I’d rater have seen a catwalk reenactment of their bedroom photo shoot from a few weeks ago. (Check out the video below.) Oh well.

Ben and Ronnie close this week’s catwalk. Oh boy this is bad. Boys, glam rock is not en vogue these days. Am I wrong people? The make-up; the clothes; their idea for conveying the story—it’s all so awful. I have to turn away I’m embarrassed for them.

And poor Ronnie is still swinging his arms like a hooker! Where did his runway powers go? Tyson says it very well in the deliberatons: “What happened to this kid? Is Ben sucking the energy out of him?”

Ronnie doesn’t want to be the nice guy and finish last. Maybe he needs to step back from the Ben bromance. And definitely stop swinging those arms!

Shannon wins the week, with Holly and Perry also finishing in the top three. Poor Ronnie, Stephanie and Frankie are in the bottom three.

Personally I think it’s Frankie’s turn to go. I want to see Ronnie bounce back.

Watch a video of Thursday's catwalk on the jump.

    Comments

I'm glad to see that you think that Ronnie was embarrassing to look at on the catwalk this episode. His facial expression made him look like he had had a stroke and the jump he did over Ben was just ridiculous. He needs to remember to always portray a model and not a caricature.

Curt's reply: Thankfully, Ronnie was bounced back. Thanks for checking in Skye.
