Broken bike laws may = ticket

Alright, so I wasn't such a fan of California's proposal to make rolling through stop signs and traffic lights legal. But I don't know if I'm completely behind Chicago possibly enforcing bike laws with tickets ...

I think it's wonderful! And about time.
As a pedestrian, I'm tired of near collisions with cyclists riding on the sidewalks and blowing through intersections. As a motorist, I'm tired of cyclists riding in the middle of the street (between lanes) and ignoring my turn signals (blowing past me on the right when I have my right turn signal on). As a cyclist, I'm tired of these scofflaws giving us all a bad name.
