Send me all of your app store information

Wednesday, July 9, 2008 -- 12:38 a.m. -- at my desk

AppI'm putting out a call to every single developer that wants their app store application mentioned here on iPTIB for the world to see.

If you have an app store application, let me know about it.

I won't post anything until Friday to make sure you don't violate any rules or regulations and people in 50-plus countries get an introduction to what your app is.

I would greatly appreciate a screenshot in either jpg or png format to go with the posting.

I've already got some great info on cool weather apps, sports apps and much more. But I'm looking for specifics now.

Even if your app won't be ready on Friday, that doesn't mean you can't share it with the world.

I look forward to seeing what you have to offer -- and I'm sure all of my callers look forward to it as well.

Thanks for calling.

I'm planning on running two iPhone 3Gs on one iTunes account, which I understand is ok at the moment, and handy since I can share my iTunes purchases with my Dad. But I was wondering, since Apps are going to be wedded to an iTunes account (presumably) rather than an individual iPhone, can you share one purchased App on two iPhones? If I buy a GPS app or a game will my Dad automatically get it on his phone too?

SCOTT'S REPLY: It's hard to say, Pat. I don't know how the app store will work yet. Yes, you can share, but I always recommend two accounts to prevent the problems and confusion that can occur within preference files when you plug two iPhones into the same computer accessing the same account.
