**UPDATE 7:22 p.m.: And also seeing a number of duplicates ... hmmmm. Maybe Apple updated to 7.7.1 too :-D **
I haven't had time to go through it yet, but when I went to bed this morning at about 3 a.m. Central Time, there were 52 pages of Apps in the store (I always sort by release date and show all).
Now, 7:14 p.m., there are 58 pages.
Updates galore!!
So if you have some time tonight, do a little shopping in the App Store and if you find something great, as always, please let us know.
Also, caller Justin sent along a note letting folks know that he's created a Web site that tracks new additions to the App Store and allows people to vote on whether or not they like them.
You can find his site here.
Thanks for calling.

Neil
SCOTT'S REPLY: Yep. Lots of good stuff but I'm still waiting for that drop everything app.
Posted by: Neil | Jul 31, 2008 9:09:26 PMI would love to try out Teleport, but at 24.99 ugh
a little steep I think for a VNC or remote desktop..
SCOTT'S REPLY: I think in general that creators need to be wary of $24.99 apps knowing that ones over $9.99 are relatively rare. Starting at that price point is a dangerous game ... I think. Obviously, if Photoshop Elements comes out for $50 and it's full-featured, well, that's different, but in general.
Posted by: Tom Clark | Aug 1, 2008 9:56:55 AMGotta say that I bit on Teleport and it's exactly what they say that it is. Works well over Wi-Fi and even did ran the Mac security update while I was at lunch over 3G with the VPN.
I've certainly paid more for less...
SCOTT'S REPLY: Wow, that's great to know. Thanks for letting us all know, John.
For those of you unfamiliar with Teleport, which is new to the App Store and costs $24.99, the developer says it has an intuitive touchpad-like interface that gives you full control over your computer's mouse and keyboard.
It allows you to launch and control any app on your Mac or PC desktop as well as advance powerpoint slides and control your media player from anywhere in your home.
I don't know much more about it, but I wanted to make sure that you all knew what John was talking about.
