Top 25 moments in iPhone history: 13

No. 13: Starbucks is my friend

iPTIB is counting down the top 25 moments in iPhone history -- 1 a day until the iPhone 3G launches on July 11.

Apple and Starbucks became really, really good friends since the launch of the iPhone. From special cards with free songs to reloadable cards with free music credits to partnerships for exclusive music to the starbucks icon appearing on iPhones, you can do everything except order coffee from your iPhone. And that might actually be coming soon.

Although, there's been recent talk that Starbucks may cut back on the Apple loving with less gift cards, less CDs in stores and the end of the song promotions.

Starbucks has been on this kick to get back to its roots by thinking about coffee. Well, sadly, Starbucks is well past that point and there's nothing they can really do to make themselves a true coffee place anymore. Starbucks is convenience and nothing more and dropping Apple from the mix would be a bad, bad choice.
