iPhone Black?
Monday, May 12, 2008 -- 11:06 a.m. -- on my couch
Quick post to mention something strange on AT&T's Web site ... under the "my accounts" page, there's a drop down menu that mentions the iPhone and then something called "iPhone Black."
But, don't get too excited (yet) -- there's no photo of said iPhone Black. It shows the same old iPhone pictured underneath.
After the whole Wi-Fi, no Wi-Fi thing that's been going over for a week or so now, one (namely me) would think that AT&T would have 30 people on the job to make sure nothing like this ever happens again.
Steve Jobs might physically stop time and send the iPhone over to T-Mobile if this keeps up.
Of course, not really sure what to make of all of this, but could this be the name of the next iPhone? Definitely could be.
More soon ... I'm sure this will disappear soon from AT&T's Web site.
And then reappear.
And then disappear.
And then ...
Thanks for calling.

:( I didn't see it anywhere. How about a screen shot?
But, you can manage your features online now though. That's new.
SCOTT'S REPLY: I couldn't get the screenshot because you have to select the model for the first time and mine's already saved. But now I hear that it's just a placeholder, but I'm not sure I am buying that one.

Never mind- Engadget Mobile showed it, but I still didn't see it on the site. Must be looking in the wrong spot!
SCOTT'S REPLY: I think new signups would see it because it involves choosing your model and if you have already been to the site, then you have already selected it and you don't get that menu to choose from.
