3G iPhone exercises with Nordic Track

Tuesday, May 27, 2008 -- 8:30 p.m. -- at my desk

Telia

Boy, that headline's a stretch. I realize that. I want to change it. Nahhhh. I'm keeping it :-D

It's tough to keep up these days ... looks like the iPhone is heading to even more countries.

Here's the shortest and simplest press release ever from TeliaSonera:

TeliaSonera today announced it has signed an agreement with Apple to bring the iPhone to Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia later this year.

There you have it. 7 more countries. What's that now, like 300? It seems that way, anyhow.

Anyone in these countries out there and on the blog? Please write to me.

Thanks for calling.

I'm sure we will see new iPhone - accessories - iGloves!! These countries will put the iPhone through its paces when it comes to the cold. I know you've had a long, cold winter in Chicago but it might be balmy compared to these countries!

BTW, mine was fine this year, but we didn't get any sub zero days which is normal where I live. In fact, we had a mild winter - thank God! Very cold spring though.

SCOTT'S REPLY: I need some iGloves today ... 45 degrees for a high a few days before June!!!

I´m from Sweden and i`m so happy right now...

SCOTT'S REPLY: So nice to have you here from Sweden! You should be happy. I hope you stick around. I'll be covering Sweden just like I'm covering everywhere else.

Im from Luxembourg.
All the vendors in the all the phone shops told me that the 3g iphone will propably not come here. Why is that?
I mean yes it's a small country but we're not behind in any aspect.
So what does Apple have against Luxembourg?

SCOTT'S REPLY: Well, I think it's a little too soon to say that for sure, Mexx ... only because Apple seems to be signing up with someone else every day ... I don't know that those vendors have all the info just yet.
